In the 1800’s, the Chisholm Trail was the most impressive and widely used cattle trail of the west. This bovine highway originated in Texas, navigated north through central Oklahoma, and ended in Abilene and Ellsworth, Kansas.
Today, this historic route is still home to some of the best cattle ranches in operation. Not only is this historic route home to cattle but it also happens to be the best waterfowl action in the Central Flyway. At Chisholm Trail Outfitters, we focus heavily on our relationship with the farmers who grant us access to provide you with the hunt of a lifetime, as well as foster respect for the history that paved the way for us to have the wonderful opportunities and freedom we experience daily. What to Expect
When you book a hunt, you can expect to experience all that the Central Flyway has to offer. We have lodging information available if you are traveling or will send you a meeting location if you are local to one of our surrounding metropolises (Tulsa, OKC, etc).
